Paragliding in Spain

Spain, Andalucia, Algodonales. These have become well-known places for paragliding with pilots from all over Europe, and I almost dare to say from a large part of the world!

I imagine that the combination of good climate, good mountains, good food, good drink and good people make it so attractive for pilots to come for a paragliding based holiday. As of today, thousands of pilots have visited and keep visiting our flying sites.

Zero Gravity, your paragliding centre in Spain

To answer this demand, here at Zero Gravity, we decided to set up paraglidingspain.eu and began offering paragliding courses for beginners, advanced courses and guided holidays for paragliding pilots focusing 100 per cent on the Pilots and students coming from outside Spain.

With the aim of making our flying centre accessible to more people internationally, our paragliding school joined various International paragliding federations and associations. We invested in our accommodation facilities and adapted our course plans to be able to offer Intensive courses for International pilots of all levels.

When we started to advertise to a wider market, we had no idea just how international our paragliding school would become. We have had students and pilots from almost every European Country. And people have also come from further afield: Australia, Canada, India, two from Egypt, Jamaica and even all the way from Japan!

One of our most recent groups had 10 different nationalities! Can you imagine how interesting it is sharing a week with a group like that? A paragliding holiday isn’t just about flying. We talk about, learn and share so much more than paragliding. it’s almost like a type of multicultural tourism. If you add to that how we Spanish like to show people from other countries our culture and land, it’s not hard to see why we really do enjoy our work so much.
