SHUTTLE AND RETRIEVALS

You will be informed of the shuttle departure time. Please be ready and on time to ensure you don’t miss the transport.

⚠ After landing, we could arrange transport back to the takeoff area. However, please note that a minimum number of pilots is required for a return trip.

CROSS-COUNTRY FLIGHTS AND RETRIEVALS

We organize both Guided Holidays and Cross-Country XC-Camps for pilots. Guided Holidays focus on local flying at different sites, while XC Camps are dedicated to cross-country flying. Each has its own logistics—especially when it comes to post-flight retrievals.

⚠ IF YOU ARE NOT ENROLLED IN A XC-CAMP and you choose to fly cross-country, please note that we cannot provide individual retrievals. Our support vehicle will pick you up when available, but priority goes to the group, so you may experience a significant wait. Keep this in mind when deciding how far to fly.

In contrast, participants in an XC-CAMP will receive coordinated instructions to ensure timely retrieval after landing from a cross-country flight.

THIS IS IMPORTANT: SAFETY

For safety reasons, the students should not fly with too many other pilots in the air.
Keep a big distance from other pilots, look where you go and check before turning.
Respect the traffic rules.

The instructors will decide if the conditions to fly are safe or not for the students, and they must obey the instructor’s decisions.
Qualified pilots enrolled in the XC Camps or Guided Tours must make their own decision to fly, with the advice of the instructors.

If you fly with your own flight equipment you must have a parachute in perfect condition: if you have any doubts, ask your instructor.

The use of a helmet in flight is mandatory.

Do not carry rigid objects in the rear storage compartment of the harness (as metal water bottles); You could hurt your back in case of a hard landing.

The use of long pants and long-sleeved shirts is highly recommended to avoid wounds and chafing on legs and arms, as well as gloves to protect your hands.

The use of action cameras mounted on the helmet is prohibited for the students and we do not recommend this setup for any pilot, as it may be unsafe.

Fly with your mobile phone on, in an accessible pocket of your harness or cockpit.

In the van, always seatbelts fastened.

YOUR INSURANCE:
We include a Basic Accident & Third Party Insurance only for the STUDENTS enrolled in the beginner's courses (IPPI 2-3, EP, CP)
(* See Conditions on our website)
Qualified pilots enrolled in the Coaching courses, Guided Tours or XC camps should have their own Accident & Third Party insurance.

WHAT IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?

If the weather is not suitable for flying in our usual location, we will move to a different area with better conditions. If that’s not possible, we’ll try to make up for lost time by flying more on other days.

If, due to bad weather, we decide to cancel a flying day, the following options will apply:"

FOR STUDENTS IN THE BEGINERS COURSES:
To get certified, you must do all the tasks and required flights in the course, no matter how long it takes you — We have 6-12 days to make it but it could be more or fewer days.
If bad weather delays your course, you can stay longer to finish it at no extra cost, if space is available.

FOR QUALIFIED PILOTS IN INTERMEDIATE COURSES:
If we cancel any days because of bad weather, you can stay longer for the same number of days, if space is available.

In any case, if you can’t extend your time with us then we’ll give you credit days or a discount coupon for your next reservation with us within the next 12 months. The value of this coupon will be calculated based on the pro-rata daily rate, excluding taxes and other associated costs.

⚠ The decision to cancel a flying day is made together by the instructors and pilots, based on the weather and available options. It’s never made individually. If we try to fly at any point, the day will be considered complete, even if we can’t fly or pilots choose not to.
