Join our Paragliding Safari across Andalucia, one of the most beautiful and diverse regions in Spain, designed especially for paraglider pilots who want to do more than just fly.

This tour is all about amazing flying, discovering new landscapes, soaking in local culture, and sharing laughs, beers, and stories with fellow pilots from around the world.

But it’s more than just a paragliding road trip; it’s a full experience. We’ll explore Andalusian cities like Granada and Jaén, get insider access to legendary flying sites like El Yelmo or Pegalajar, and spend evenings swapping stories behind a beer. You'll not only fly, but also live the local lifestyle, slow, sunny, and full of character.

You'll return home with new friends, epic memories, and a few more hours on your wings.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Malaga pickup & first flight in Loja

We’ll meet you at Malaga Airport and head straight to Loja, just under an hour away.
Once we’re checked into the hotel, we’ll go for our first flight of the week that very afternoon.

Day 2: More Loja, then off to Granada

We’ll fly Loja again in the morning. In the evening, we move to Granada, home of the famous Alhambra and buzzing tapas bars.
It’s a short drive, and we’ll enjoy a relaxed evening in this beautiful city.

Days 3 & 4: Fly Granada + explore the city

We’ll fly near Granada – in spots like Cenes de la Vega, and mix in some city sightseeing, local cuisine, and plenty of fun.
Granada is one of Spain’s most iconic cities, and we make sure you get to experience it both from the air and on the ground.

Days 5 & 7: Head to Pegalajar + visit Jaén

This is a well-known flying site that’s hosted several national and international comps.
With great thermals and epic scenery, it’s perfect for a day of flying.
We’ll stay in a local guesthouse or country hotel, think chill vibes and great views of an ocean of olive trees.

Days 8 & 9: Final flights at El Yelmo

We will visit El Yelmo, another legendary site and home of Spain’s most famous paragliding festival.
We’ll wrap up the trip with one last epic flight before heading back, sun-kissed and smiling.

Day 10: Back to Malaga airport

On the last day, we’ll drive you back to Málaga airport in time for your flight home, full of good memories, sun on your face, and maybe a tear in your eye.

Important: As we all know, paragliding depends heavily on the weather. That’s part of the adventure!
To make the most of every flying day, we’ll stay flexible; the route or daily plan might change depending on conditions.
Our goal is always the same: chase the best skies and give you the best flying possible.

REQUIREMENTS

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE AND TO BRING

⚠️ For this tour, you must be a pilot-rated leastways FAI IPPI 3, BHPA Club pilot, or equivalent, with a minimum of 50 hours, and totally autonomous for taking off, flying and landing.

• Bring your Flight Equipment, with a reserve parachute, helmet and Walkie VHF 2m. A power bank is highly recommended.
• Although it is not mandatory, we highly recommend you have a Travel Accident Insurance with full rescue/repatriation cover. If you are a citizen of the EU, bring your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This entitles you to reduced-cost, sometimes free, medical treatment.

🇬🇧 The briefings are in English or Spanish. You must understand at least one of these languages.

GPS LIVE TRACKING

YOU JUST FLY; WE WILL BE WATCHING

We use an App on your phone which sends your GPS coordinates to the tracking website while you’re flying and we can see where you are at any moment. This is very good for your safety but it is also very useful to organize your retrieval after landing.

INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE

We include your accommodation in the package. We stay in local hotels, guesthouses, or private apartments, always near the flying sites; no long drives needed.

You'll get your own private single room by default.
Want to share a room with a friend or partner? Just let us know when you book.

Breakfast is usually not included, and meals (lunch/dinner) are not part of the package, so you're free to eat where and when you like. We often organise dinners together.

NEAREST AIRPORT

WHERE AND WHEN TO ARRIVE AND DEPART

The best airport to fly into and out of is Málaga (AGP).
It’s well-connected, easy to navigate, and it’s where we’ll be doing all group pickups and drop-offs on the first and last day of the tour.

You can also fly into Seville or Granada, but please note: We only provide airport transfers from/to Málaga. If you choose a different airport, you’ll need to arrange your own transport to join the group.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE

AIRPORT TRANSFERS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE

We provide free airport transfer only from/to the Malaga airport.

• The shuttle service departs from Malaga airport on the arrival date at 13:00 h
• On the check-out day, the shuttle will arrive at Malaga airport at approx. 12:30 h
